Week of Nov 2, 2026 — foom Trade: Send Cash to Anyone, Currency & Pre-IPO Perps
foom Trade lets you send cash to anyone on foom, opens up currency and pre-IPO perps, and gives every market page a clearer look at who's buying and why.
foom Trade
New
- Send cash to anyone on foom — Pick a person, enter an amount, review and confirm. They don't need to do anything, and foom covers the network fee. On iPhone and Android.
- More perp markets, including currencies and pre-IPO — Every live market on our perps venue is now listed, including currency pairs and pre-IPO companies, each at its full available leverage.
- Swaps and Thesis tabs on every market — Token and perp pages now split the Feed in two: Swaps lists every buy and sell with a size filter, and Thesis shows what traders are saying.
- Quick market previews on hover — On the web, hover a token or perp in any list to see its key numbers, add it to your watchlist or copy its address without leaving the page.
Improved
- See which trades an agent placed — Trades an AI agent placed for someone carry an Agent label in the feed, closed trades and rankings, and those traders now show up in rankings like everyone else.
- Bigger agent trades, still your call — AI agents can now suggest trades of any size. You still approve every trade, and your own wallet signs it. The approval screen now shows the liquidation price and the fee before you confirm.
- Smarter market answers from Genie — Ask the in-app Genie about big wallets or market moves and it answers with real, sourced market data instead of saying the data isn't available.
- Choose where your trading rewards go — A clearer section in Settings shows which wallet your rewards are paid to and lets you switch to your foom wallet in one tap. Rewards you've already earned stay where they are.
Fixed
- Markets that only allow one margin type — Perp markets that only support per-position margin now set it for you, so orders on them go through instead of failing.
- Selling everything closes the position — After a Max sell, the tiny amount the network requires us to keep back no longer leaves a leftover open position.
