Week of May 18, 2026 — Onboarding Wizard & Multi-Channel Setup

Major onboarding overhaul — a new 4-step wizard guides users from plan selection through deployment, LLM setup, and channel connections.

  • Onboarding wizard — 4-step flow: Plan Choice → Deploy Server → Connect LLM → Add Channels, with support for both free trial and paid plans.
  • Personality picker — Choose from preset AI personalities (Balanced, Expert, Mentor, Pair Programmer, Creative) or write custom instructions.
  • Multi-channel onboarding — Connect Telegram, Discord, Slack, and WhatsApp in a single accordion step.
  • LLM provider setup — Claude, Codex, and Gemini connections built into onboarding with free credits banner.

Fixed

  • Account-add via email — Magic link callback now works correctly when already authenticated.

Genie Mobile App

New

  • Deploy progress — Animated provisioning indicators with 4-phase flow: confirming → provisioning → done → error.
  • Account switching — Switch between multiple Deva accounts from the onboarding header.
  • Onboarding flow — Step indicators, navigation guards, and account switching in header.
  • Analytics — Event tracking for app opens, logins, server selections, and more.

Fixed

  • Onboarding exits — Fixed premature flow exit when deployment completes.
  • Server creation timeout — Extended timeout for slow provisioning.
